Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
This policy explains what Universal Posting (“we”, “us”) collects when you use universalposting.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks.
1. Information we collect
Account information. Your email address, display name, optional profile photo, and authentication details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name and profile picture from Google.
Connected social accounts. When you connect an account such as X, we store the access and refresh tokens the network issues, your public handle, display name, account ID and avatar. We never receive or store your password for any social network.
Content you create. Prompts, drafts, scheduled posts, uploaded images and videos, and the record of posts published through the Service, including their links and status.
Billing information. Your plan, credit balance and usage history. Card payments are handled entirely by our payment provider; we never see or store card numbers.
Technical information. Basic log data such as IP address, browser type, timestamps and error reports, used to keep the Service secure and working.
2. How we use your information
- to create and maintain your account and sign you in;
- to generate, schedule and publish posts to the accounts you connect;
- to track credit usage and apply your plan’s limits;
- to send service emails such as verification, password resets and failure alerts;
- to diagnose errors, prevent abuse and keep the Service secure;
- to meet legal obligations.
We do not use your content to train our own AI models.
3. Access tokens for connected accounts
Tokens from networks such as X are stored encrypted, are used only to carry out actions you request or schedule, and are never exposed to your browser or to other users. They are refreshed automatically so your connection keeps working.
When you disconnect an account, the stored tokens for it are deleted. You can also revoke our access at any time from the network’s own settings — for X, under Settings and privacy, Security and account access, Apps and sessions, Connected apps.
4. Who we share data with
We share only what is needed with service providers acting on our behalf: our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider, our payment provider, and the AI providers that generate text, images and video from your prompts. Each is bound to use the data only to provide their service to us.
We also send your post content to the social network you choose to publish to — that is the purpose of the Service. We may disclose information where legally required, or to protect our rights, users and the security of the Service.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use strictly necessary cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences and secure the sign-in flow. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Posts, drafts and media remain until you delete them or delete your account. When you delete your account, your personal data and tokens are removed, except records we must keep for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and the CCPA, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You will never be treated differently for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email support@universalposting.com. We respond within 30 days.
8. Security
Data is transmitted over encrypted connections, credentials and tokens are stored encrypted at rest, and access to production data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach affecting your data as required by law.
9. Children
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email, and the date at the top of this page will change.
